About

What inspires you?

Good design - if a design is good, you won't notice it, but when you do, that ah-ha moment is great.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I was really good at listening to people then suggesting things for them to do next. I thought psychology would be good, but realized I like better improving people's lives by designing things they like.

Hobby?

Design, no matter where I am or what I'm doing, my mind starts thinking about how things could work differently.

Drink?

In the summertime, a Mojito.

CMYK or RGB?

RGB, because the colors individually look perfectly fine but combine them to have infinite possibilities.

Where are you from?

Grew up in Brookside, MO.

Song of the moment?

Anything Jazz, I'm not familiar with most of the songs but can easily spend hours listening.

What has been your best client experience?

I had the opportunity to work on a Build A Bear Workshop project where we designed the next phase of their online experience. The project hasn't been implemented yet, but it is an amazing interface that will be really fun and we had great collaboration between the group.

Favorite Quote?

"The difference between theory and practice, is that in theory there is no difference between theory and practice."
- unsure who said it

What keeps you going?

Treadmills keep me going! When running outside, there's no fear of being zipped off the sidewalk.
